Life and my blog have gotten away from me.

Wow it has been a while. We "updated" my computer a few months ago and the wireless internet stopped working so I didn't have internet on a computer that had pics on it. It was so frustrating. Now we are into a new house and I share internet with Tyrone which is also inconvenient. Hopefully I will get set up soon and do more posts soon!!!

Florida trip

Our Florida trip started one week after we got back from TX. My parent's Christmas present was to take us to Disney World and on a Disney Cruise. We then went to West Palm Beach for a few days! The first bunch of pics is at Disney world

Brennen's Birthday

Tyrone had to take an extended business trip to Abilene, TX so we all went with him. Brennen turned one during the trip. He also decided to start walking all over!!! I can't find my pics for it. My computer was redone and I think his birthday is saved on Tyrone's computer. I'm reorganizing my computer so it's kind of a mess right now.

Happy Halloween!!!!!

Tyrone and I dressed up as Zorro and Elena Montero. Brennen didn't recognize me and almost cried when he looked at me. He got used to it through the night.

The kids had so much fun on Halloween. Kayla ran to every house. I think she just loved that people were giving her candy! It was fun even with the rain!

So much fun! It's one of my favorite days for dance! Emalia, their teacher, is definitely not a devil either! She is the best teacher and the reason why I drive to Sandy even though we've moved.

Post-Surgery

The surgery went perfectly. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The surgery was quick (1/2 hr) and we were only separated for an hour. We had time to eat while waiting which was nice because we didn't eat much before we left home at 6 AM. The girls stayed overnight at Grandma's which really helped. The surgeon came in and talked to us after and said that everything went really well. It ended up that his testicle didn't grow on that side. He still has one and is fine fertility wise. He will just need to be more careful when playing sports not to injure the one he has. We got home that afternoon and he acted so normal. I gave him pain meds the first day and then he was fine. It was as if he didn't have anything happen to him. What a blessing. We even took off the steri-strips that covered the incision site (the stitches were inside) and it was healed perfectly. You can hardly see the scar and it may disappear completely eventually. I'm so greatful that everything turned out as well as it did!!!
